As we begin a new term, we are proud to reflect on the exceptional progress our trainees have made and the dedication they continue to show as they develop into the next generation of outstanding teachers.

A highlight of our recent central training week was the visit from acclaimed speaker and author Evelyn Forde, who joined our ITT programme to deliver an inspiring and thought‑provoking session on Equality, Diversity and Inclusion (EDI). Evelyn challenged and empowered our trainees to think deeply about their role in shaping inclusive school environments, encouraging them to embed EDI principles meaningfully within their practice. This impactful session will undoubtedly leave a lasting impression and help shape the values and approaches of our future educators.

Our trainees also embraced the opportunity to take part in an enhancement day, visiting partner schools across Leeds, Bradford, and Hull. These experiences provided invaluable insight into a diverse range of educational settings, allowing trainees to broaden their perspectives, deepen their expertise, and further strengthen their practice.

As we enter the Enhancing Phase of our curriculum, we celebrate the energy, commitment, and ambition shown by our trainees, alongside the unwavering support of our mentors and partner schools. We now look ahead with excitement to the next stage of the programme, including upcoming observations and the final term, as our trainees continue their journey towards becoming exceptional educators.
