The course is designed to look at all specialisms within Design and Technology at both Key Stage three and Key Stage four. Our trainee teacher colleagues come from diverse backgrounds within the design industry which enables us to share ideas and concepts around key topics and themes. During the year we will be looking through specifications and identifying key areas of teaching and learning, effective ways in which to assess in D&T, visit places of enrichment and complete a series of practical workshops. Visiting speakers will also deliver sessions to enhance our subject knowledge in areas such as graphic design and fashion and clothing.
