It has been wonderful to see our trainees settling so confidently into their placements. Throughout November, we carried out our Lead Mentor observations alongside subject mentors, providing valuable opportunities to recognise and celebrate the excellent progress trainees are already making.

November also marked the launch of our Intensive Training and Practice week, with a strong focus on effective questioning. The cohort were privileged to train with the inspiring Kate Jones, whose research-informed session was packed with practical strategies that trainees can apply immediately in the classroom. We are grateful to Kate for her support and for inspiring the next generation of teachers.

As we move into December, we look forward to seeing trainees build on this positive momentum, continue to grow in confidence, and reflect on their development as they prepare for the next stage of their training.
