Teacher Training Open Events
TRAIN TEACH PROGRESS
Come to one of our open events at The GORSE Centre or at one of our partner Academies for Teacher Training!
The Events taking place in Leeds are for both Primary and Secondary. Events taking place in Bradford, Bridlington and Hull are for Secondary Only.
We offer QTS and a full PGCE for both primary and secondary applicants.
Our Alliance is made up of excellent schools all with a track record of outstanding and transformational provision for young people.
Our placements offer experience of the real world of education in schools where excellence is modelled and supported by practising professionals.
You will train in a minimum of two school placements within our SCITT. This training will lead to QTS from our provision, augmented to PGCE through our special relationship with the University of Sunderland.
To be eligible for our programme, the following qualifications are required:
A UK undergraduate degree or a recognised qualification, preferably 2:2 classification or above, and GCSE Grade Cs or above in English and Mathematics* and an additional C or above in Science for Primary Placements.
*(or a grade 4 for GCSEs taken from 2017 onwards)
We have a track record of training successful applicants, many of whom are subsequently employed by our partner schools.
Our trainees are intent upon making a difference in the lives of children. If you share our ambition, please contact us – details below.
